Ushers Ministry

Biblical Reference: Psalm 84: 1, 4, 10-11: How lovely is Your tabernacle, O Lord of hosts! For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be in a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk upright.

Purpose: Respond to God’s call to service by ushering to promote worship, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship and ministry at Tabernacle Baptist Church (TBC) and other churches as invited.

Mission Statement: A ministry of Adult and Youth (mentored by Adult Advisors) ushers, who faithfully support the worship services of TBC and area churches that facilitates worship, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship and ministry.

Objectives:
• To provide services of ushering as a unified group at Tabernacle Baptist Church and other churches
• To support the Pastor and Ministries of TBC
• To promote friendship and fellowship among TBC ushers and members
• To display readiness, gratitude, humility and diligence while carrying out our duties

Meetings Date: First Tuesday of each month (except July) @ 7:00 p.m.
