Trustee Board

Purpose: The Trustee Board of Tabernacle Baptist Church is responsible for holding in trust all property belonging to the Church and shall take all necessary measures for its protection, management, and upkeep.

Mission Statement: Acts 6:3 states "Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holly Ghost and wisdom, who we may appoint over this business." While this scripture does not specifically mention "trustee" it clearly states the qualification expected of all trustees. As such, the mission of this board is to carry out its duties to the Church and the community within which we serve the same purpose as that set forth by the disciples of Jesus Christ.

Objective: To provide ministry to Tabernacle Baptist Church and the community in the name of Jesus Christ through:

• Prudent management of church finances,
• Maintenance repair, and cleaning of the sanctuary and church grounds,
• Transportation for members and other to and from worship services and special events,
• Over site of radio and tape ministries,
• Management of church personnel and,
• Development of current and new Trustee Board members.

Meeting Dates: 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
