Upcoming Events

May is Older Americans Month. TBC's Senior Ministry will be celebrating with the following events.

  • Sunday, May 20th - Worship together during 11am service
  • Monday, May 21st - Senior revival at Noon in the CLC. Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Tillman will bring the Word.
  • Friday, May 25th - Senior Prom. Join us for an evening of elegance from 6-10pm. Signup deadline is May 18.
Singles Ministry will sponsor a Meet and Greet on June 3 after both services for all TBC singles aged 18 and older in the CLC lobby.
Vacation Bible School will be held July 9-13. Please see Deaconess Tracie Elliott to volunteer.

Announcements
  • SWEET is requesting donations of gently used purses for the Silent Auction held at the annual Girls to Women Tea which will be held on Saturday June 2.
  • If you need transportation to church or need to change previously scheduled transportation, please call the church at 733-6545
  • TBC Youth will visit Golden Living Nursing Home for community outreach on every third Wednesday. Please join them as they fellowship and witness to the Glory of God.
  • Zumba fitness classes are offered free on Monday and Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm in the CLC. Lose weight, look great, and have fun doing it!!!
  • The Senior Citizens Ministry sponsors activities Monday - Thursday in the CLC in cooperation with Petersburg Parks and Leisure Services. Transportation can be arranged by 804-733-2394. All activities are FREE! Activities are as follows:

    Monday: crochet, movie, pokeno, games at 10 am
    Tuesday: aerobics, bingo start at 9:30 am
    Wednesday: Bible study and a speaker start at 9 am
    Thursday: aerobics, knitting, card games start at 9:30 am

  • Did you know? Gravel Run Baptist Church, located in Dinwiddie County, is a host site for Angel Food Ministries. This is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to various communities. One unit of food costs $30 and can feed a family of four for about one week. There are no income qualifications and orders must be placed in advance.
